What we expect from our new colleague:

• Willing to provide support to the Accounting/Finance Department.
• Basic knowledge of PGC (Plan General Contable) or another European GAAP
• Invoicing and bookkeeping
• Cash flow management
• Bank reconciliationsPerforming basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, answering phones, processing the mail, etc.
• Handling communications with clients and vendors via phone, email, and in-person.
• Processing transactions, issuing checks, and updating ledgers, budgets, etc.
• Preparing financial reports.
• Assisting with audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies.
• Assume the responsibility of receiving and sorting incoming payments with attention to credibility.
• Most of the time you work from home or in our office in Barcelona.

The wish list for an Accountancy Assistant

• Accounting degree and/or work experience related to Finance and/or Accounting.
• More education, experience, or additional certifications and licenses.
• I.T. skills (Word & PowerPoint) with Excel (basic formulas, pivots tables, “if” statements and lookups).
• ERP and CRM knowledge (Dynamics 365 Business Central knowledge is a plus)
• Exceptional time management and verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with basic accounting principles.
• Professional manner and a strong ethical code.
• Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive.
• Commitment to working efficiently and accurately.
• Team player
• Strong sense of responsibility
• You can follow a schedule and meet deadlines.
• Excellent command of Spanish and English (French is a plus)
• You are a European citizen or have a valid long-term European work and stay permit.
