Business Development & Sales Account Manager

AG Solution is one of the most exciting companies in Europe. We are growing in Belgium, France, Spain & Ukraine and are now looking at growing our office in Cologne, Germany. AG Solution is therefore looking for a Business Development & Sales Manager.

We have established a strong internal organization where your role will cooperate closely with the internal sales department, techno-sales and the marketing department.

Who exactly are we looking for?

  • You preferably hold a degree in engineering or equivalent inexperience
  • You have a strong sales instinct with proven experience in an engineering company
  • You’re creative, dynamic and ambitious. People know you as the driver of the team, someone who seeks out new opportunities
  • You’re organized, structured and always have an overview of all the deliverables.
  • Active knowledge of the industry and an understanding of its developments and trends
  • Deal-hunter & negotiator
  • You will be developing our presence in Germany, which means you are autonomous & proactive.
  • Fluent in German & English is a must. Knowledge of another European language is a plus.
  • Based in Germany.

Main responsibilities

  • Managing the entire sales cycle, from identifying business opportunities to closing the sale
  • Utilizing CRM and networking tools (LinkedIn,…) to identify, follow-up leads and set-up meetings
  • Create & develop your own commercial business in line with our company strategy
  • Lead scoring
  • Coordinate with Sales & Marketing in our other locations
  • Keeping up to date with company products & services
  • Networking with industry professionals & stakeholders
  • Conducting initial telephone contact with inbound leads
  • Qualifying leads into opportunities
  • Daily maintenance and responsibility for data quality in our CRM
  • Participation in events
  • Develop a genuine knowledge of your prospect’s business and become a trusted advisor
  • Represent and demonstrate our company values, vision and mission
