This Spanish group focuses on refinery activities such as neutralization, bleaching, deodorization, winterizing, fractionation and physical refining of all types of oils and fats for a wide variety of applications. For privacy reasons and upon request of the client, we don’t publish the name of this company.

Project:

PCS7 upgrade to v8.2 version. Virtualization of the entire plant system based on VMware platform

Success case:

Our client gave us a very challenging timing but AG Solution successfully virtualized and upgraded the whole control system in four phases of execution in a total term of four months. We also improved the security of the plant and the network by integrating different security systems.
Full capacity of the servers will be used with multiple applications being executed simultaneously with no performance impact, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
In addition, there is an automatic reporting system with a remote access for process supervision, maintenance and engineering tasks. AG Solution engineers performed the commissioning successfully in just 4 days, minimizing the risks.
