Recently, an announcement was made that many worries ever since: From 2024, OSIsoft PI (part of AVEVA) will stop supporting PI Processbook. This means that, in less than two years, all PI ProcessBook users must migrate successfully to its successor: PI Vision.

AVEVA will discontinue support for PI ProcessBook as of December 31, 2024. Please note that as of December 31, 2022, PI ProcessBook will no longer receive security updates or fixes. Consider this in your planning as any security risk may leave your production vulnerable to attacks.

PI Vision uses different technologies than PI ProcessBook. This means that there are some migrations of displays that might be incomplete.
